The Optolong L-Extreme Filter is designed for DSLR and CCD control, providing a dual-band pass filter that isolates the H-Alpha and Oxygen III nebula emission lines.

With a passband of 7nm, the H-alpha filter lets through only the desired wavelengths of light emitted by nebulae, while the light pollution suppression filter blocks out the artificial light and enhances the signal-to-noise ratio of the images.
